Join Mary May, a professional woodcarver from Charleston, SC, for her 2 day class on carving the Philadelphia style ball and claw foot on the classic cabriole leg. Some carving experience is necessary, along with your basic set of carving tools. Bring them along and Mary will show you how to sharpen them to a razor edge the old fashioned way. You'll learn the step-by-step process of shaping the cabriole leg and carving the ball and claw foot. Lots of tips and tricks shared from this fine artist and teacher. Basswood blanks supplied.
